  1. Hi, Mr. Hoffman! I love your piano lessons! I have wanted to play the piano for awhile. So my dad got me an 88-key keyboard. When I started to watch your lessons, I didn’t want to stop. I love how you include stories and hand motions in your teaching. I also think the puppets are funny. Thank you for making learning fun. – Kari

    • You are very welcome! I’m glad you’re enjoying the lessons so much, and am very happy to be your piano teacher. Good luck and happy playing!

  2. I was about to buy first unit materials, but seeing your new campaign am not sure if I should go for a lifetime subscription, :) sounds promising. But I will not fully use it until my daughter grows up, not sure what I will do. Exciting :D :D

    • Absolutely! A keyboard with at least 61 keys is the minimum to easily complete all the lessons and exercises in our program, but if your keyboard is smaller than that you can still accomplish quite a bit. Just be aware that you may run out of keys when doing some of the finger power exercises and other activities. I would recommend also asking around (friends, relatives, local schools or churches, etc.) to see if you can practice occasionally on a full-sized piano. I hope that helps! – Mr. Hoffman

    • Having an account on our site allows you to log in and manage your preferences with regards to newsletters and email notifications, as well as access any purchased materials you have ordered from our Store. We do not, and will never, sell or share your login or contact information. Later this year, we will release a new feature that will respond to your login by remembering which lesson you last completed and prompting you with the next lesson to watch. I hope that helps! – Mr. Hoffman

  3. Thank you so much Mr. Hoffman! I am 32 years old, & this is my 2nd time trying to learn the piano. My 1st time, as a child, we moved away and I just never followed through. I am now a Music Production major at Daytona State College (Great program!) and will be taking Piano 1 in the fall. I am so glad I found your website to get a head start! Thanks for making it so easy and fun to learn!

    • You can learn to play at any age. We have people much older than you happily learning to play with us. Please give it a try. Be patient with yourself. Practice each lesson carefully before moving on, and try to be consistent. Just a few minutes a day over enough time will produce great results! Let me know how it goes! Joseph Hoffman
