Product Description

Sheet Music for Anitra's Dance, from the Peer Gynt Suite, Op. 46, No. 1 by Edvard Grieg. This famous orchestral suite was composed in 1876 for Henrik Ibsen's play Peer Gynt. A parody of Norwegian folklore, the play and its music composed by Grieg have enjoyed enduring popularity for well over a century. Presented here is the third movement, a lyrical waltz depicting Anitra, the daughter of a Bedouin chief, whom the wayward Peer Gynt meets on his travels. A more challenging version for intermediate-level students. Arranged by Aron Bernstein, 2 PDF pages.
