Romanian Folk Dance No. 6, Sz. 56, BB 68

Sheet music for the Romanian Folk Dance No. 6, "Little One," Sz. 56, BB 68 by Béla Bartók. This folk melody is adapted by Bartók in vivacious style, with fast 8th and 16th note rhythms and beautiful modal inflections. The frenetic pace is only intensified in the middle section, with triplets contributing to the childlike exuberance. Also an effective piece for staccato and accents. Also available in our Bartók Six Romanian Folk Dances Collection. For advanced students, 3 PDF pages.
