I transposed Morning Salute to the C major scale. For the B section, I transposed it to G major…….I hope that is correct?

Yes, if you transposed Morning Salute to the C major scale, your hands would be in the G major pentascale position for the B section. It would still be in the key of C major though. Does that make sense?

We’ll start working on it soon, but first we plan to finish making unit 10.

Thank you for teaching me piano Mr. Hoffman! You are the best teacher ever! I like the puppet show you put at the end of the video. Every time I finish the last unit I pray that you will make another one, and you do! Can you please make a unit 10? And how many more years of piano practice do we need before we learn the all of me song that you play at the beginning of each lesson?

Thank you! I’m so glad that you’re enjoying the lessons, and we’re happy to have you learning with us! Yes, we do intend to make a unit 10 after we’ve finished unit 9. As for how long it will be before you can learn the song “All of Me”, it’s hard to say. The speed of progression and improvement is different from student to student, but if you keep learning and consistently practicing, you can be confident that you’re on the right track, even when you’re still working on the basics. Good luck and happy playing!
